In the fast-paced and often demanding world of modern business, working in a toxic environment is unfortunately not an uncommon experience. However, what sets apart the true leaders and innovators is their ability to transform these toxic environments into spaces of growth, positivity, and innovation. There are many individuals within organizations who are deeply passionate about their work but find themselves in toxic environments. Even though this may be your story, not everyone needs to leave their current position to seek fulfillment; instead, it is very possible to be a successful change agent within your organization.

When you know why you do what you do then you can better align your purpose with your actions – and recognize the signs and signals from the universe that guide you along your unique path. We all are aware that in agriculture, crops need “shit” to nourish their roots and grow. Very similarly, we also can utilize the “shit” and perceived challenges in our work environment as opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The key to nurturing this growth requires significant self-investment. Investing in your own self-development and healing are necessary steps toward achieving true wealth and fulfillment. Wealth in its truest form goes well beyond traditional monetary measures – encompassing overall well-being, including physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Recent research and polls conducted among employees can shed light on the prevalence of toxic work environments and the impact they have on individuals. According to a survey conducted by Gallup among 10,000 employees, 24% reported feeling actively disengaged at work, which can often be a result of toxic workplace cultures. My own personal experiences of surviving toxic corporate cultures and sadly my own personal toxic entrepreneurial culture were catalysts for my own self-development journey. I realized that even as a founder/CEO I was just as burnt out and unhappy working for my self! Embracing the Future: Prioritizing Consciousness in the Age of AI

“Think with your head and not with your heart?”

Likely, too often to remember. . . exactly.

And this comes as no surprise in an age where we’ve prioritized our logic, analysis, or reason as the sole determinant from which we make life decisions. I mean, I even must admit that it’s hard to argue with hard data and compelling facts. Because I’ve frankly spent a lifetime learning how to use my head in academia, traditional “white collar” environments, and unsuccessfully in matters of love. 

It was these experiences, though, that inspired expansion of awareness. I was sick of feeling burned out. I was sick of feeling out of place. And I was sick of feeling undervalued. So then, transformation was in order. I journeyed instead to explore greater levels of consciousness that required me to exercise more than just my thinking mind. The journey to getting out of my head brought me into my body – feeling into my heart and even deeper into my gut.

Yassss. It is now with great confidence I can move in the direction of my purpose and calling. Which frankly makes the overall experience more pleasurable, more ooey gooey, and more fun! For real. I can now enjoy answering my emails. I can now enjoy some days with back-to-back meetings.

So, in that feeling of alignment we move more directly, more efficiently and more intentionally toward our destiny. It is an infinite journey, nonetheless; so, we have to keep moving – forward or backward – it’s our choice.

Oh and the freedom to have choice is the very gift of having the human experience.

Free will takes us at each moment to the next step along our journey. The journey some days is rough, pain full, and annoying. Yet it is with our gift of choice that we choose higher experiences, choose to accept pain as lessons, and we choose to embrace our feelings as they are.

When we embrace who we are, then higher experiences follow … naturally.

This is why I encourage making decisions from your heart.

The energy of the heart is like a time keeper, aligning you to the divine timing of your Sol. As you settle deeper into the energy of your heart, you move more gracefully, you speak with unwavering authenticity, and you embody God, Source, Creator aspects.

From this space is where movement is impeccable.

Flawless is rarely a word we use in business. However, in MetaBusiness it is a description of being. Beyond excellence, moving impeccably calls us to listen to our Divine Will and leverage that power in making decisions, in engaging with the people around us, and in serving humanity.

The power of the heart in balance with the ego creates a synchronicity in execution. So, it is in this synchronicity where flawless living is experienced. Witnessing synchronicity in numbers. Catching familiar phrases as you want a TV show. Bumping into someone on the street you were just thinking about.

These seemingly coincidental experiences are instead signals of living in alignment, living in harmony, living flawlessly.

I love to have these affirmations in my day-to-day life.

They remind me of the direct connection I have to Source and they encourage me to keep moving in harmony with my heart. Moving in harmony is an existence free from anxiety of solely relying on the thinking mind to manage ALL that I have going on in my life. It gets me more into my powerful body and being so that I can connect more deeply to the activities of my life with presence and authenticity. Speaking when I need to express and receiving when it’s time to listen.

I can honestly say these activities are not always easy when there is emotional imbalance or unresolved tension in one’s experience. Listening becomes more challenging. Reaction comes more easily. Speaking can be ill-received because it’s coming from a place of pain rather than a place of pure intention. And these compounded experiences can create an illusion of all ways doing the right thing; yet, can leave you with an opposite feeling.

Eek. This feels disgusting. And that’s exactly where the groundwork is laid to build a beautiful transformation in being.

Transforming our being is a daily task. A moment to moment task… really.

So don’t get beside your Self if you feel progress is slow. Because you can find a new opportunity in your very next segment of life. Starting fresh. Starting over. And moving first from your heart.

Making Decisions From Your Heart

This article explores Erin’s personal narrative to innerstand how we can shift from a life governed   by anxiety and fear to a life governed by power and focused intention

At this juncture in my life, it’s become abundantly clear that accessing what I want comes 100% from stepping into and activating my personal power. This is a 180-degree departure from how I lived most of my life – forcing my way through challenges, working excessively long hours, and burning out fast.

Like the rest of the world, I actually valued the “work hard, play harder” false narrative that was constantly being projected out to anyone who desired a successful life and career especially in fashion, business, and finance.

Having lived in NYC in the early 2000s when late nights out were just as much as a priority as Monday morning team meetings, I can easily say that forcing my way through life was a necessity, if not a requirement. There was never a single thought about replenishing myself, or taking care of myself. I don’t even think I knew the phrase “self-care” until I started my metaphysical practice.

With this go-getter at all costs mentally, I was surely headed to an early grave and I can honestly say I felt my Sol dimming and my being fading fast by the time I reached my late 20s. I was forcing my way through work days and fake friendships. And I especially forced myself in painful navigation through the joint masters degree program at Harvard’s Business School and Kennedy School of Government.

I wanted to be recognized. I wanted to be important. And even greater, I wanted to have an impact on the world. But I didn’t realize that I was sacrificing myself and my Sol in the Process.

It was not until my world came to a screeching halt after the unexpected passing of my father and best friend within a month’s time that I began to reconsider everything I Knew.

Granted the feelings were excruciatingly painful, I could no longer numb my self with substances, achievements or accolades. I was fully covered in the shit that was my life up until that point and I could feel and smell every bit of the muck.

I can now say, looking back, that the pain I experienced deep in the muck was simply the long-desired growing pains of my Sol. My Sol that had been neglected likely since birth in my busy little body constantly running from pain, running from confrontation, and running from responsibility. It wasn’t until I was forced to sit in this pain that my Sol finally received its overdue acknowledgment and recognition. My Sol deeply longed to connect back to me and communicate the great messages that my guides, ancestors and the almighty Divine Source had been seeking to share. 

So, it was in this pain where I began to unlock my POWER.

My Sol thirsted for knowledge, wisdom and truth that was hidden from me until the perfect conjunction of time, place and condition. It was at this juncture, where I felt that I had no where and no one on earth to turn to in my grief. My mother was being hospitalized for attempting suicide and 

my friends and extended family didn’t know how to nurture or support me. And the only other place for me to go was to GOD – the source of my Sol.

In this reconnecting time with GOD, I prioritized prayer, meditation, journaling, affirmations, spending time in nature, and nurturing my newborn son, Harleaux. For a while, I taught myself various metaphysical principles via esoteric and occult books, pamphlets and YouTube videos until the day a teacher in the flesh would appear. Eventually, teachers and mentors were drawn to me and in utilizing their own unique modalities, I was directly connected to my spirit guides, ancestors, and galactic lineage. My work with my these various guides accelerated my healing journey and Sol growth, which in turn, amplified my energetic power.

It is now with this power, that I move, respond, and exist. 

Power enables us to move through life especially life’s challenges with strength. It is with great relief, today, that instead of forcing my way through tedious work days and drunken party nights, I now joyfully engage my work activities with gratitude and spend significantly less nights escaping my reality. I move with presence in all that I do, aware of the energy I bring to each interaction and every task. It is in the present moment where our greatest power exists and with intentional healing, we can all experience the power of NOW.

Power gives us the control to respond to life’s trials or unpredictable moments with a sound mind. There are countless times in my past where my forceful nature erupted in the most embarrassing or inappropriate ways. I had to learn the hard way that when our energy is misaligned or not properly checked, then we are bound to experience erratic moments that we later regret. Yet, as we grow in our power, it is these very moments where lessons are learned and transformation can happen. I mean how can we know what’s right if we never do wrong? By responding in power, we have a greater chance in times of challenge to radiate love, understanding, and optimism.

Power is where we truly exist. Nothing in our Sol, in our inner being desires to force its way through life. It is our truest nature to exist in our highest, divine power. And in this powerful existence, we are connected to our purpose, our passion, and our mission for this life. In my past, I forcefully worked hard daily in hopes that I would achieve some great status and wealth. Yet, that behavior left me unfulfilled, dare I say, empty. But now, I innerstand my true life’s purpose is to serve humanity, and in that service is how abundance will flow to me. So now I’m inspired to action daily in pursuit of my highest

vision of sharing MetaBusiness with 100 million people and organizations around the world.

With aligned power and clear vision, comes definite action.

Now, I no longer work or live in vain. Everything that I am and everything that I do is in complete alignment with my life’s mission and purpose. This is where we all can be when we step into our POWER.

How to Step into Your Power & Align with Your Life’s True Purpose

Time to wake TF up and see who you really are beyond the 9-5 and side hustle. Let’s explore how we go beyond the masking, code switching and doing what you gotta do just for the bag to achieve what you truly desire out of this life.

A little over a year ago, I participated in my first Tai Chi workshop with Body & Brain “Finding True Self,” where I was introduced not only to the pure, divine light I possess within, but also to the insightful “Map of Consciousness” by Dr. David Hawkins. It was from this map that I discovered that one enlightened individual could reach one million people – lifting consciousness with just the simple presence of their energetic being and doing!

This knowing and innerstanding struck me like a lightening bolt and gave me a whole new insight into how human beings can have impact in this seemingly vast world. I began to innerstand that my enlightenment and Sol journey is very important and critical, yet cultivating enlightenment and Sol growth for others is just as important to the evolution of the collective consciousness. Because at the end of the day, it’s a numbers game. And not numbers as we traditionally think of in business as dollars and cents. But numbers in the sense that when more people achieve enlightenment, then millions of others are impacted in a way that shifts the trajectory of the world in a POSITIVE WAY.

The current state of spirituality on Earth allows for the calling forth of any soul that is ready and willing to grow and rise in consciousness and vibration. This means that regardless of one’s status or stature in the world, they can tap into the divinity lying dormant within to transform into the god or goddess we all have the potential to be. 

I can offer this statement in truth because it has been documented and proven that human beings were created from more than just dirt. In our DNA lies the star coding that is waiting to be activated and utilized for good. And this activation comes from more than just reading books and lived experiences, this activation is a cosmic one and can only be accessed through intentional and persistent meditation. 

When we look at the nature of our current lives, we are bombarded with any and everything to keep us busy, which really just translates to being distracted and being continually set off-course. And with this kind of programming, how can we ever come to know who we are or why we came to earth at this time?

While we’re busy in our virtual team meetings, endlessly scrolling on social media and ordering our next UberEats meal, then it is nearly impossible to connect with our true self, our divine nature, and ultimately, our conduit to a higher and more peace full existence. In this way, we remain trapped in the golden handcuffs that are our cushy jobs, our 30-year mortgages, and our private school tuition bills – a co-creation for us upwardly mobile folks to be bound by.

It is one that was pre-coded and pre-designed for us to follow without question, without pushback and almost with acquiescence. A very subtle agreement with the powers that be that we will show up to work, play nice, and do what we’re told.

Well, for me, that looked like severe burnout, insecurity, people pleasing and aimless direction. I was constantly seeking the next opportunity for happiness outside of my self, the next validating achievement outside of my self, and love and appreciation from people outside of my self.

By in large, this is what the business world looks like family!

We are all striving for greatness, not even realizing that the greatness we seek lies deep, buried within. Underneath all the ego. Underneath all the unnecessary competition. And underneath the desire for more wealth, more achievement, and more attention.

This greatness can only be found in stillness.

The stillness that I speak of is not coming from the 5-6 hours of sleep you may get at night. This stillness is found in intentional and purpose full meditation. A practice that calls you to sit with your self. A practice that invites you to listen and see ALL of your thoughts. A practice that enables you to feel ALL of your emotions.

When we start to make a commitment to show up for our self, in truth and vulnerability, then unquestionably the shackles of masking and code switching for the “security” of the weekly paycheck and health insurance (and whatever other excuses we use to stay in an unhappy job) start to fall away. We then start to see ourselves and the predicaments we co-created as not our own. 

I love to relish in this moment of sweet awakening. It’s a beautiful opportunity to exercise a gift only human beings were given on this earth – free will. Yes, the freedom to make our own choices and decisions about which way we will go in our lives. The freedom to know that I created the mess that I’m in, which also means I can devise a creative solution to get my self out of it. 

And it is in this problem solving where we begin to experience what I call Sol growth. 

Because so often we get stuck at the level of the problem. We find ourselves looking back at the mess we made and wallowing in self-pity, self-judgment and sadly, self-punishment. Many of us stay here willingly because we believe we’re deserving. A long life of high achieving in school and on the job often comes with a great drive and determination that is often fueled by this self-deprecating-like talk. Then we wonder why we’re stuck.

Unfortunately, this is the state that most of the world lives in – operating from a punitive, frightful and fearful place. I know and innerstand it too well because this level of consciousness also consumed my psyche for much of my life. I often share how I lived with so much guilt and shame for many experiences that were well beyond my control. And that left me in a vicious cycle of victim consciousness and low-vibratory existence.

Yet, this is the vibration of the collective.

So, any opportunity we have to creatively sit with ourselves, assess what we’ve been through and how to make it better is an opportunity for beautiful, powerful and fulfilling Sol growth. And it starts with just 15-minutes of meditation, or time to your self, a day. Generally, people associate meditation with sitting in the hills of the Himalayas for days or maybe even months contemplating life. 

But let’s be real…Ain’t nobody got time for that!

The average business professional is barely getting in a lunch break and quality time with family so we have to set reasonable and achievable expectations for ourselves. With that, finding 15-20 minutes a day to sit in calm silence, journal in a notebook how you’re feeling, or going for a leisure walk outside counts. 

We have to utilize the tools we have at our disposal to connect with the metaphysical world. And as you become more in tune with your self and more committed to your path, then more teachings will be revealed to support your growth. You’ll also find that as you grow, your life’s challenges become easier and easier to manage. 

Heaven on earth is our birthright. We weren’t meant to work ourselves to death, then experience paradise. That’s ass backwards! I hope you’ll come to know and innerstand that the opposite is our truth and it’s up to you to commit to conscious and continuous Sol growth in order to experience your heavenly nature now.

What Does Wealth Mean To You?

I often have Imposter Syndrome and downplay my achievements through saying I acquired them due to luck/coincidence. Do you have any advice for those with Imposter Syndrome as well as those who may prohibit themselves from pursuing their full potential due to their fear of rejection?

Imposter syndrome very simply is a misalignment with what you think you are and who you really are.

Who you really are is a being of conscious light that chose to come into this human experience to be challenged, feel the range of emotions that come through these challenging experiences and ultimately, complete your Sol’s purpose.

In your Sol’s journey, you have been led by or driven by your desires for realizing very significant achievements. And along the way, people have likely challenged the validity of your desires or even your ability to accomplish what you truly desire. It is in these experiences of judgment from others that we then turn the judgment on ourselves.

So when you actually do reach the pinnacle of achievement that you so desire, you don’t fully value all that you had to endure to get there because you fundamentally judge yourself as not being worthy of the achievement. 

This is when you begin to innerstand that the underlying issue with imposter syndrome is self-judgement.

Every being on this planet was created in love to experience love, joy, peace, and enlightenment. But somewhere along the way we lose that knowing and succumb to the criticisms of others and the criticisms of society. In time, these critical voices occupy our thoughts so much so that they create an ever present voice of criticism within — becoming and evolving into the “self-critic.”

The key to healing the imposter syndrome is to heal the self-critic. 

The self-critic was likely nurtured by numerous experiences of rejection, abandonment and abuse. Yet, these perceived experiences were created by you and for you — to serve your Sol’s growth and self-study. 

The healing comes in embracing the painful emotions that arise when faced with rejection because fundamentally those feelings are part of you. And you love you, right?! If so, ask yourself, why do I not like this feeling? What does this feeling bring up for me?

It is in listening to our feelings and emotions where we find the most authentic and honest guidance. That guidance can’t come from anyone else, but you.

You must learn to trust that even in the face of rejection you are making progress towards your dreams and your Sol’s purpose. Learn to embrace the rejection as a gift from the universe protecting you from a path that is not designed for you. Learn to love the painful feelings that arise within when you find yourself in the depths of the rejection moment. 

It is my experience that when there is no pain, there is no gain. So listen to the emotionally pains of fear within you and learn to trust that those feelings are there to serve you. And take you further along the path you so deeply desire.

Remember — You are loved. You are held. You are safe.

Imposter Syndrome

Fulfillment: He’s missing a spiritual element to his life. He’s surrounded by nice things but realizes they are empty
